At the Lasserhaus, the morning begins with a short stroll through Brixen. A few minutes through the old town, then breakfast awaits at the Viertel Bar in the Badhaus.
From 7 am to 10 am, everything that brings joy in the morning is served: savoury, sweet, healthy and everything in between. Regional produce and organic bread, homemade jams and spreads, fruit juices and egg dishes. Accompanied by Italian coffee. Just one more.
Inside by the window, outside under the parasols, or somewhere in between. And right in the middle of it all: Brixen. Because the Viertel Bar isn’t a traditional breakfast room, but a meeting place for hotel guests and locals alike. Whilst at one table the brioche is still being dipped in cappuccino, at the next the first quarter-litre of beer might already be on order.
And after breakfast?
Just stay put. From 10 am, the Viertel Bar switches from breakfast to daytime mode: light meals with a Mediterranean twist and a touch of South Tyrol, focaccia, homemade cakes, coffee or, later on, a long drink. Indoors or outdoors. Just popping in for an espresso or staying longer than planned.
Breakfast away from home. A slice of Brixen included.
